General FAQs

  • FCD: The First Commit Date is the date that your Qorvo products will arrive at your dock.
  • CRD: The Customer Request Date is the date we seek to match with the First Commit Date.
  • RMA: Return Materials Authorization: A form to fill out to return products as needed.
  • RFA: Return for Failure Analysis: Process to follow if a product does not work as expected.
If you can’t find a product on the portal, it may not be a standard product or may not be ready to sample or purchase. Please call or email your Qorvo Inside Sales Representative to ask about product status, pricing and availability.
If you can’t find a product to order online, it may not be ready to sample or in production yet. Only standard products will appear on the order portal. Any custom products need to be ordered through your Qorvo Inside Sales Representative.
The U.S. Dept. of State requires licenses to ship any of our export restricted products. Once our Qorvo ITAR Representative verifies license certification, your order will be processed. If you have any questions about the status of your order, please contact your Inside Sales Representative.

Samples

This is controlled by each business unit within Qorvo. In general, most parts that are available on the price lists should be available for sampling. The exception would be some of the Defense & Aerospace products. If you aren’t seeing a sample product that you expect to be available online, please contact your Inside Sales Representative for further information.
Exactly the same way as you would place a standard order. Your sample account will display available sample products that you are authorized to resell or distribute.
Certain samples will require Business Unit approval and quantities may be limited depending on availability and other factors. Most parts should not be restricted by quantity but we do track sample orders and these will be checked during your quarterly business review with your Regional Sales Manager.
Product price is only shown to indicate the value of the product which is needed for customs on samples shipped internationally. Your cost for samples will be zero upon checkout.
Please give basic context for the sample request: company name, contact information and project name and/or application for all sample orders.
  • In the PO field during checkout: Enter the “Company Name, Contact Name”
  • In the Comments field: Enter the “Project Name” and/or application
    Note: If the contact name does not fit in the PO field, enter this along with the project name and any other relevant information in the Comments field.
Production samples will have the same lead times as their production parts. Brand new release products may require additional lead time depending on availability and demand. You will receive estimated shipping time once the sample request has been processed and can also check the shipping status on the order status page.

No. An actual PO number is not needed. But we do require you to enter the end customer's "Company Name and Contact Name" in the PO number field for sample orders. The general application of the sample product should be entered in the “Comments” field for each product. Supplying this information will aid in speeding up the approval process.

Qorvo has a public online store hosted by RFMW. Customers may use this store to order samples and can pay by credit card or Purchase Order. Follow up and fulfillment of the sample request is handled by RFMW.

Please contact your Inside Sales Representative to have your sample account created. Qorvo's Inside Sales team will review the request and, if approved, create an internal SAP account that will be used to generate your Sample Order Portal account.

Products

Samples, evaluation boards and standard products are available to order in the order portal. If you don’t see the product you’re looking for, please contact your Inside Sales Representative for assistance with product availability and pricing. You will only be able to search and order products you are authorized to purchase.

Some parts may be discontinued but if inventory is still available, the product will continue to appear as an option to order. You can continue to place orders until no inventory is available for purchase, or we can direct you to the replacement product.
Product numbers that have a hyperlink next to it will direct you to the product detail page on the external public website (www.qorvo.com) in a separate window.  You will be able to review product details and the data sheet specifications there. If a hyperlink does not appear, it may not be online as a standard product to order for all customers.

Qorvo uses six statuses to indicate where a product is in its life cycle, from preview through discontinued.

Qorvo's Life Cycle States

The product details page for a specific product will list the latest status. Qorvo uses the following designations.

Status Description
Preview Qorvo has announced this product but it isn't yet in full production. This product may be in limited, early production, and samples may or may not be available. Please contact your Qorvo Inside Sales Representative for details.
Production This product is in production and recommended for new designs.
Not Recommended For New Designs This product is still in production but Qorvo may discontinue it in the near future. As such, Qorvo does not recommend customers use this product in a new design. Where possible, we provide suggestions on the product details page for replacement or alternate products.
Last Time Buy Qorvo will discontinue this product soon and has announced a "last time buy" date. Any orders for this product must be submitted before this date. Where possible, we provide suggestions on the product details page for replacement or alternate products.
Discontinued Qorvo no longer produces this product but may still have limited stock. Where possible, we provide suggestions on the product details page for replacement or alternate products.
Custom This product is custom or has limited availability. Please contact your Qorvo Inside Sales Representative for details.

Shopping Cart

Items will remain in your cart indefinitely.
Yes. If items already exist in your cart, they will be merged with the reordered products.
The maximum limit is 20 characters, which should accommodate the PO. If the PO number is longer than 20 characters, please notify your Inside Sales Representative.

Shipping Options

The default shipping information is established as part of our account profile in SAP.  If you need to change the default shipping information, please notify your Qorvo Inside Sales Representative to make the change so it’s reflected in the order portal.

Products can be delivered via standard and expedited shipping.

- Standard shipping: Products will arrive in 3-5 days, via ground or international economy air.
- Expedited shipping: Products will be delivered within 2 days, with an increased shipping rate charged to the customer’s account.

 After placing an order, you will receive a shipping notification with your carrier tracking number, so you can see when your order will arrive. This information is also displayed in the order history section.

Yes, hand-carry is an option but needs to be arranged with your Inside Sales Representative. Note that there still may be a processing fee, depending on where the product is located. If you have a time sensitive order for a customer, please contact your Inside Sales Representative to coordinate.

No. Qorvo covers the shipping costs for sample requests that come through the Sample Order Portal.

Tracking Orders

Your order status is displayed in the order history section. Your tracking number will be provided there with a link to the carrier tracking information once it is available.

The legacy orders cannot be viewed online in the Qorvo order portal but you can request a report from your Inside Sales Representative.  Any orders placed as of May 1, 2016 can be viewed via the Qorvo order portal.

RMA Process

On the Order Portal home page, click the RMA button next to your Inside Sales Representative’s name. Return requests will be reviewed within 3-5 business days. After you receive your paperwork authorization, you’ll have 60 days to return the products.
Return material authorization requests will be processed within 3-5 business days. If you’re submitting product for failure analysis (RFA), that requires separate processing and information and may require additional time.
Please contact your Qorvo Quality Representative to submit a Return Failure Authorization (RFA) form, which requires a failure analysis to be conducted. After the RFA is reviewed by a Quality rep, you will receive a notification regarding next steps. When in doubt, contact your Inside Sales Representative who will be happy to assist you on the process.
Yes, returns as of May 1, 2016 will be reflected in the order history after they’re processed.
After your RMA or RFA is processed, you will have 60 days to return the products to Qorvo.

Reordering Feature

The products you previously ordered will appear, but you will need to enter in the new quantity and your requested delivery date (CRD). If items already exist in your cart, they will be merged with the reordered products.
Please submit a return materials authorization (RMA) form. Your account will be credited for the order. We will then generate a replacement order and correct parts will be sent as soon as possible.
Please contact your Inside Sales Representative for assistance in finding an alternate or replacement product for you.

Yes, you will be provided with a separate account for ordering free samples online. When you login, you will see Sample Order Portal on the home page. If you don’t have your sample login information, please contact your Inside Sales Representative.
